Decades of Education & Discrimination Law Experience

Licensed to practice law in Ohio since 1997, G. Antonio "Tony" Anaya dedicated the first 20 years of his career to representing clients in education and discrimination matters, including litigation in both state and federal courts. In 2018, Tony joined Ohio University as a Title IX/Discrimination Investigator and Hearing Panel Chair, where he spent eight years investigating and adjudicating Title IX sexual misconduct cases, along with allegations of discrimination based on other protected categories such as race, religion, pregnancy, age, disability, and national origin. After retiring from Ohio University in 2025, Tony became The Title IX Advisor, aiming to leverage his decades of experience to assist individuals navigating the challenging process of Title IX or discrimination investigations at colleges and universities, as well as to support smaller higher education institutions facing the complexities of Title IX compliance amid shrinking resources.
